Throughout the pandemic, many consumers have been seeking ways to alleviate stress and improve their physical and mental health. A Whole Foods Market survey, commissioned from the Harris Poll, found that 85% of respondents said they want to take steps to boost their well-being. Additionally, 79% want to learn to eat more mindfully. To fulfill consumers’ desires to improve their health, Whole Foods and Headspace meditation app joined together to create the “Food for Mood” IGTV four-episode series and Headspace guided meditations. Over on IGTV, Chef Sophie Roe and Nutritional Psychiatrist Dr. Uma Naidoo, make recipes together to achieve four positive moods: joyful, energized, focused, and relaxed. Additionally, the meditations are focused on joyful shopping, cooking with gratitude, and mindful eating.
Whole Foods and Headspace leverage their thought leadership in wellness and mindfulness to provide their audiences with the tools to improve their health. Takeaway: Listen to your audience’s priorities to create inspiring and engaging content that adds value to their lives.
